What information does Cuddles Foundation collect?

We collect personal information when you voluntarily submit it to us.

For example, donors may provide us with personal information (such as name, address, email address, telephone numbers and/or credit/debit card information). If a donor, or a website visitor, contacts us by email they may provide us with their email address, and name. Providing data is required in these contexts in order for us to process your donations, requests, or respond to inquiries.

In addition to the personal information that you submit to us, we may collect personal information about you from reputable third parties, or automatically collect information using the following technologies:

Web Server Logs. Our web servers may collect certain information such as IP address, pages visited, time of visits, and referring website.

Cookies. Cookies are simple text files stored by your web browser that provide a method of distinguishing among donors and visitors to the website. Cuddles uses cookies to identify your browser as you visit our websites or those within our social or media network. Cookies also allow Cuddles Foundation to provide more relevant, targeted content as you travel through sites in our network as appropriate and are used on our shop website to keep track of the items in your shopping cart.

We solicit and accept donations consistent with our mission

Cuddles Foundation solicits and accepts donations that are consistent with its mission and that support its core programs, as well as special projects.

Donations and other forms of support will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, subject among other things to the following limitations:

Donors will have to provide specified contact information.

For the ease of accounting purposes, Permanent Account Number will have to be provided for all donations received online from persons resident in India.

Donations from persons who are not citizens of India will be accepted subject to compliance with the Foreign Contribution & Regulation Act, 2011 and applicable laws.

Donations in kind, such as nutritional products, etc may be accepted subject to receipt of specified certification, including but not limited to ownership, safety, etc and receipt of internal approvals.

Donations, which specify restrictions on usage or are in cash, may be refused at the discretion of Cuddles Foundation.

We cannot refund donations.

Our donation policy is in line with reporting requirements under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and all other aspects of applicable laws.

Where do we transfer and store information?

Cuddles Foundation is based in Mumbai, India and any information transmitted to us may be stored, accessed, or processed in India. We follow the data protection laws of India.

How do we use information?

We collect information primarily to accept donations, complete our charitable projects, and provide you with information concerning our programs, projects, and activities. We also use information for analytical purposes, to improve our website, our donor base, our outreach, or to respond to requests for information or merchandise. We may inform you of other purposes at the time that we collect some forms of information. For example, if you apply for a job we may collect information in order to process your job application.

With whom do we share information?

We do not trade, share, or sell information that you provide to us with other organisations who intend to use it only to market their products or services to you.
