Our vision is to give every child fighting cancer a chance to survive it. We’re a child centric organisation - which means - if faced with a decision between budgets and the survival of a child, we choose the latter, always. We work through partnerships with government and charitable hospitals that treat underprivileged children for cancer.
Our nutritionists, trained specifically for paediatric cancer nutrition, are placed in government hospitals and monitor the child’s progress, create diet plans and nutritional charts, counsel their parents and educate them in home-based nutrition. We provide children undergoing treatment with food, hot meals, nutritional supplements and ration baskets as per their requirements so that the kids have the strength to fight their cancer. We measure the impact we're making
In 2017, with the help of individual donors, volunteers and the Cuddles Advisory Board, we were able to develop an App that would standardise our delivery of nutritional support across all the hospitals we work. The Cuddles FoodHeals App is the first of its kind platform that helps automate mathematical functions for a nutritionist - like calculating the grade of malnourishment, BMI, calorie deficiency, etc. The App also aids her in counselling, diet planning and mapping progress of the child through the course of the treatment.
We’re accountable to our beneficiaries and donors
We’ve consistently strived to meet the highest benchmarks in accountability and transparency. You can view our Annual Reports, below.
All donations to Cuddles Foundation are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Cuddles Foundation is a registered charity under the Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950.
